Your First Visit

Your first visit with us doesn’t have to be filled with fear because, as we say here in Integrated Rehab and Physical Therapy P.C., “We treat you like family.” You can be assured that your time with us will be filled with knowledge about Physical Therapy and how it can help you in so many ways.

On your first appointment, our licensed physical therapist will be discussing comprehensive assessment and appropriate treatment for you. Reviews of your medical history and diagnostic tests will be done to enlighten them more on your current condition. During this appointment, assessment of your present functional deficits, pain level and posture, and evaluation of your balance, endurance, flexibility and strength will also be conducted.

Then, our physical therapist will carefully explain the treatment plans apt for you. You need to remember that communication and participation between the patient and physical therapist is highly important. With us, this is only the beginning of your path to recovery.
