FAQ

Q: What time should I arrive on the day of the appointment?
A: There is a necessary paperwork that a patient should complete, so we ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment.

Q: What should I bring to my first appointment?
A: On your first appointment, we require you to bring the following:

  • Valid Photo Identification* (Driver’s License, State ID, School ID Card, or Passport)
  • Doctor’s prescription for physical therapy
  • Insurance card
  • Date book for scheduling

Q: What should I wear?
A: We suggest that you wear comfortable clothing and preferably no jewelry. It is better to wear something loose during the evaluation, so that your therapist can examine and treat the injured area thoroughly.

Q: Will my physical therapist communicate with my doctor?
A: Yes, your physical therapist will reevaluate you before your next doctor’s appointment. Then, he will write a progress note with recommendations. In addition, if there are any unusual problems during your recovery, the therapist will contact your doctor to discuss his concerns.

Q: Will my insurance cover my physical therapy treatments?
A: Physical therapy is covered by most insurance plans. To confirm if Integrated Rehab and Physical Therapy P.C. is accepting your insurance carriers or for any inquiries, please feel free to call us.
